LEARNING EXCHANGE RESIDENCIES

29 May – 11 July 2026

Newcastle upon Tyne (UK) - Nantes (FR)

Learning Exchange Residencies offers time, space, and resource for artists to connect and create potential for collaboration and co-learning between Newcastle upon Tyne (UK) and Nantes (FR).

Reflecting on the ideas and experiences following our LER programme in 2025 this year we have decided to support three rtists to return to Nantes: this year Niall Greaves, Noize Choir (Lindsay Duncanson/Marek Gabrysch), and Izaak Gledhill will be returning to Paradise for a period of 4 weeks per residency.

This year all of the artists will present work together at Paradise as part of an exhibition and events programme:

Adam & Steve: Immersive Comedy Theatre Show

The world has ended, and Adam’s waiting in the pub to see if there’s time for one last quiet pint before whatever-comes-next, when Steve bursts through the door. Adam & Steve is an immersive comedy theatre show exploring forgiveness and upbringing. This sharing is a work-in-progress, with a stained glass set design.
